A 12 footer that paddles well. This is where the idea of an elegant, versatile canoe collapses. Any 12' canoe is at its best on your shoulders, and becomes less satisfactory the closer it gets to the water. They are simply too short to be really stable, or paddle well when compared to something longer. However, if you understand their limitations, they can provide a wonderful means of getting back onto waters that would otherwise be out of reach. This canoe is suitable for one or two paddlers on calm water. It is very light, paddles better than most of this size, and is one of the prettiest small canoes you will find. |
