Most of our work is sold at our shop at 245 Hog Bay Road (Route 200) in East Franklin, Maine. It is stocked with Susanne’s hand-dyed wools and yarn, knitting, weaving and rugs. Charlie’s functional pottery include dinnerware, cups, mugs, bowls, serving dishes, vases, lamps, large planters and tiles.
Our shop is kept neat June through September, and Sue and Charlie are usually here at home, in the studios or the garden. During the off season, you are still welcome to stop in; the shop is less tidy but is open on a self-serve basis.
This Downeast region is a center for potters, weavers, jewelers, small foundries, craftspeople, artists, and more. Hog Bay is famous for its seals, eagles and ospreys, and the Reversing Tidal Falls. Acadia National Park and Schoodic Point are nearby. We abut the Donnell Pond Public Lands area, with its gorgeous lakes and mountains. The Downeast Sunrise Trail, runs through Franklin on its way from Ellsworth to the Canadian border. Stop by and enjoy the area!
